I'm a bladesmith and knifemaker from Piedmont, Oklahoma, just outside of Oklahoma City. I've been making knives for nearly two decades, learning to forge, shape, and craft high-quality custom blades. My specialty is American western frontier style blades, but I only limit myself by how far my inspiration will take me.
In 2018 I became a Forged in Fire champion for making an Irish ring-hilted sword for the season five finale (S5E39), and since then I've received dozens of awards at knife shows across the U.S., and abroad. Awards aside, I love making blades that push my creative limits and make me a better craftsman.
As much as I love the craft of knifemaking, it's the community of makers that keeps the craft alive. That's why I love visiting other makers, wherever they are in the world, and learning from their expertise. Of course, we make time for whatever local food and drinks an area has to offer, and more than a few laughs along the way too. The Wandering Bladesmith is my way of sharing those experiences.
